Review on SensorPEDIC OptiBlend Triple Layer Memory Foam πŸ›οΈ Bed Pillow: Superior Comfort and Support in White (70301) by Stephanie Adams

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Comfortable, but flat and smells like chemicals.

SensorPedic Optiblend 3-ply memory pillow arrived in new, undamaged condition. The instructions say to leave it unwrapped for 48 hours before use to allow the pillow to expand to its full size. I followed directions, partly because of the strong chemical smell, partly because of the strong chemical smell. After the recommended time, the pillow will expand slightly but will not completely fill the cover. The smell was still strong so I left it on the porch for a couple of days. It took about two weeks before the smell was minimal and I slept on a pillow. Although this pillow felt different than my regular memory foam pillow, the SensorPedic pillow was quite comfortable to sleep on. I usually sleep on my stomach or my side and it was fine in both positions. When I woke up the pillow had a flat spot where I used it. I still smelled a faint chemical odor so I waited a little longer before trying again. Unfortunately, the pillow quickly started to flatten out. It hasn't really been used much, but is already less fluffy than its original size. Final Thoughts: While the SensorPedic OptiBlend's three-layer memory foam pillow is comfortable, its odor is repulsive and I'm disappointed in the premature flattening. . I don't expect the pillow to last long. Binding Disclosure: I received this product through the Revain Vine program. All opinions in this review are my own.
