Very nice washers, but difficult to install

I had to replace a set of 12 xenon washers with bulbs that burned and regularly burned out to LEDs. I was connected to 120 volts with a three position capacitive dimmer. These lamps, like many or most LED lamps, do not dim when the voltage is reduced. It doesn't matter if. I replaced the 3-step dimmer with a switch. They look great, work as expected, but were quite difficult to install. They are connected to each other by plugs and sockets that are about 9.5 inches apart. So the first problem is finding the screw holes the right distance apart to allow the two lights to connect once they are screwed under the cabinet. The second problem is that the location under the cabinets doesn't quite lend itself to exactly equal spacing. So I have to cut the wires and splice them to new lengths using solder joints and heat shrink tubing. But the main reason it's difficult to install is that you have to work upside down, using either the touchscreen or a mirror with a flashlight. . I lined up the pilot holes with a cardboard template, drilled small holes with a small drill bit and then had to attach the plastic frames with a very small Phillips screwdriver working with a mirror, flashlight, magnetic screwdriver. Cabinets, I put in the fastener bodies (rather awkward to orientate and screw together) and connected all the direct attached. The next step was to connect all the jumpers between the cabinets which I soldered and covered with heat shrink tubing. Finally connected everything to the new capacitive switch and bingo: Fiat luxury! I finished using a hot glue gun to attach the dangling wires to the bottom of the cabinets. Very happy with the results. But the installation was not easy. Last note. The manufacturer could have saved everyone time and frustration by removing the small silver tags that had to be removed from each light and cutting each wire (with little risk of cutting the wire yourself). I didn't look to see what they were saying. It is likely that there is electricity which can be dangerous.
