There are 2 different Feather Artist Club razors, the SS and DX, and they have very different protrusions next to the blade. The DX is very similar to a razor, with more exposure, while the SS has a more rounded shoulder. I bet most of the complaints about the 45 degree angle etc come from SS users. Please check these photos by Feather.Co.Jp, they clearly show the differences including blade exposure etc.
