I use Tom's regular toothpaste with no problems so I definitely gave it a try when I got sensitive teeth. This toothpaste is terrible! The first night I noticed a lot of tingling, much more than usual, but I figured it was just a matter of getting used to it. The next day I noticed a painful blister on my gums while chewing. Okay, maybe I've caught a cold or something? I cleaned it again and this time the burning was more intense. The next day I had another blister on my gums, so at least now I knew why. I stopped immediately and the blisters eventually healed after about three days. I will never use this again.
