My dog will lie and sleep on two things: All human furniture (bed, sofa) and this soothing dog bed. He is quite anxious dog and is always in the same room with me. I can't prove that this bed eases his anxiety, but he prefers it every night for a comfortable sleep rather than going upstairs with me. I feel better knowing he's okay and feeling confident when I'm out of sight. It was worth buying him another one to keep by the stairs/front door and he alternates between them. It is well made, feels very soft and yet sturdy enough. so he sinks and cuddles. He's part terrier so sometimes he digs before lying down and none of the beds have been damaged. In addition, it is easy to clean. Highly recommended.
