Not balanced on center spindle.
I can't balance the center spindle. It ends on the magnetic side of the needle. I wanted to give this to my grandson and show him how to use a compass. Instead, I explained to him that buying nameless, cheap stuff wasn't worth the money I was saving. We ordered a Suunto compass and I will show it how a good product should work.
