I work security and the office I work in just got walkie talkies for all staff as an added communication/security factor. Many times I have taken patients outside using only my cell phone and the office has decided that this is the best safety factor as I can be in or out of the office a lot. With this new piece of gear being added to my belt, I needed something lightweight that I could wear on my duty belt and easily remove the device. Yes, this only happened after I removed the elastic loop at the top that kept the vines hanging. It has too many outer loops which is a waste of material. I ended up removing the rear clip on my receiver for easier plugging and unplugging. In general, take something else, more appropriate. I gave it a 2(**) because it's washable, comes with a 2 inch strap, and can hold the receiver without tearing it apart. I would say it's bad design. Slightly plainer on the outside (no loops) and maybe a snap holder would be better than an elastic loop, it will work for my purposes, but only because I've customized the product.
