I am a licensed cosmetologist and have been doing eyelash extensions for over 5 years. I tried the blue Medium Shield/Flat with a customer today. It worked just as well as my more expensive rods/shields. In fact, I found them to have a sharper curve than the Ellebana shields, which I like. Held in place with glue. Almost all brands of rods require trimming and are usually longer than necessary. If it doesn't stay in place, it's your glue, not your rod. Try to wait 30 seconds after applying the glue to the back of the stick and before applying it to the eyelid.
