I bought these tins because I was looking for something to store food for my cats. He's had a stomach issue recently and I've switched him to home cooked food which is great for him. Packing them in these little jars has made life so convenient. I just take one every night to thaw. I looked at other reviews before purchasing and took a few precautions to keep the glasses safe. After packing food, I always leave the jars slightly open to allow the air to escape when frozen, and close them the next day. So far I haven't broken a can. I also tend to hand wash most things because for some reason it makes things cleaner than my dishwasher. I have washed glasses in the dishwasher several times, no problem. I haven't washed the lids although I'm sure they will be fine too, but I don't want to lose the little rubber grommet that hangs around the inside of the lids of the jars. In general, the glasses are excellent! They're cute, durable, and do exactly what I need them to. I can even buy another set so I can cook meals for a month at a time!
