I ordered this primarily because the wood color matched my round dining table and I needed an 'elevated' space to work at my home table. I opened it and examined the fragments. It's great that the kit included a screwdriver and easy instructions. But I noticed the corners of two pieces that were chips or chips. I hate returning orders unless absolutely necessary so I just sanded the corners smooth and used brown wood furniture chalk. This served my purpose of placing my printer on the right and the other laptop on the left. I'll check again when I get the monitor. I had to put "felt" pads on the underside of the shelves so they wouldn't scratch my desk. The pin on top that causes the two sides to tilt or expand confuses me as it slides off the rail easily. Again it does what it takes for my job. I agree and glad it wasn't expensive.
