My shoe size is 9. This shoe was only available in a 9 1/2 - 10 so I went with that size. The shoes run half a size larger, but fit well when the strap is worn behind the heel. I could return them but I thought they were great walking shoes. They have good arch support and the cushioning sole makes them very comfortable so your ankles and hips don't hurt. Better than any athletic shoe I've ever had.
