Review on 🐈 K&H PET PRODUCTS Two-Story Outdoor Kitty House: Heated or Unheated with Dining Room by Donna Maupin

Cute little outdoor haven for kittens

I have tried many K&H pet products over the years and have always been pleased with their quality. This cat house is no exception and a cute little concept. This house is not to be left behind. If you put it somewhere uncovered, there's no point. Water will definitely get in since it is not waterproof. It is designed to be placed in a garage, under a canopy or covered porch. Our porch is closed and we have two neutered kittens that have been hanging around here for a number of years. They do NOT want to be pets. (Trust me, we've tried!) While winters here in North Carolina can be considered mild compared to some areas, they can still be quite cold. We have some homemade coolers that kitties LOVE! This keeps them warm in the cold months. I thought it might be something new and interesting for them, especially since the nights have gotten a lot colder. The house is relatively easy to assemble. We had no problems there. It's not the strongest house I've owned, but it doesn't feel fragile either. Two small cats can easily fit inside. Our two outdoor kittens are small and they snuggle up easily. I have an outdoor heating pad that I will use when it gets a little colder. I KNOW they will love it! We use them in their fridges every year and never leave them. The plastic flaps keep cold air and drafts out, but the cats didn't like them. They didn't even want to enter the house with the attached ones, so we had to remove them. It serves its purpose well, but I'm not sure how well it will hold up over time, especially if discovered by other wild animals. We have a lot of possums in the area looking for a warm place to roost so you never know! LOL (especially when there's food and water in there!)
