Not a flimsy belt, it has enough elasticity to hold my pants while still being enough for bending, sitting, etc. The buckle is strong and the belt clip and loop are made of high quality leather. This particular belt doesn't look like a typical woven stretch belt but more of a tweed look, very stylish to wear with an outfit when the situation calls for it. While it costs more than some budget rubber bands, the quality and looks are definitely worth the money.
