Can't say I know too much about standard glue sticks. So when buying. I only needed a small package as I expect it will last a long time. I used the completely wrong type of glue for certain things when all I needed was cheap crafts. I've been running sneakers for about 20 years. Normal glue sticks. Don't touch everyday life in my shop. Between buying, selling, collecting, one thing is certain. I keep all my sneaker boxes as pristine as possible. This includes the labels on the boxes. Collectors in general (of whom there seems to be more every day) don't like it when their sneaker boxes are in bad shape. Of course, this applies to both buyers and sellers. Even if it's just a box. If the box is damaged, there will be a serious reduction in value. Retailers like Nike and Adidas don't want resellers to come in and buy every pair of "UNLOADED GOODS" because they want all consumers to get a pair at retail price, rather than one or two people buying them all and twice. Retail stores are tearing off the lids of packages to avoid selling certain apps. If they can, but on goat or eBay. At least they will lower the price. Sorry for the long backstory. But this is where my review starts and why I am going to tell you why this glue works for what I use it for and how it holds up well. I get a lot of pairs that I buy online without caps. It's ok, but I can find brand new boxes all the time, whether it's for the person I'm buying online or selling in person, and maybe that buyer doesn't need the box. I always ask if I can keep the box. At this moment. Every pair I have listed after sale and box damage. (WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE MORE THAN 1000 PAIRS THEY NEED TO BE ALL INSTALLED AND THE OLD PAIRS SHOULD BE LISTED). So I heat the label on both of the new boxes and peel the label off of that box with a heat gun which removes much of the adhesive behind the label. Then I take it off in the same way with the damaged box and often I had no problem sticking it directly on the new box, but often the corners don't really stick perfectly. The truth is that even if I sell through the application. The buyer doesn't know who I am but the seller is very important to me because I hate it when I receive a box in a bad condition and I don't want that to happen to my buyer. It's just not fair. So this glue. Which I've only been using for a week. For sticky paper such as labels to stick on boxes (some boxes are made of different materials, but 99% are made of cardboard). Not a single problem. However in the past. I've never used glue stick. Just because I didn't have them at home. I have a cement adhesive that holds the midsole, upper and outsole of the shoe together. Back hundreds of pounds from a man who wears them for years but can't hold a piece of paper and cardboard together? It doesn't seem to make any sense. The same goes for crazy glue. never works But THESE ADHESIVES. come out clear. They work great. So if you have trouble with that. Let me tell you one thing. Please consider using a different type of glue. Not another type of glue stick. But there are many different ways to glue things together. Glue guns are great for patching. Fabric on fabric, plastic on fabric. Cement adhesive - ideal for gum and restorations. Among a thousand other things. It can even be used to line the bathroom (by the way, when restoring sneakers, use cement glue). The best to date. Crazy Glue. I use Gorilla Glue for many things. But this glue stick is for quick fixing of a light object. paper to plastic. paper to paper. On cardboard etc. (Think back when you were younger. When you needed to buy glue as a kid in elementary school it was for things like that and this item seems great. Again I haven't tried much. Amazon's Choice. Soooo why not try one and when i will say try try dont even do it and dont give a bad review because i see so many people do i try my items damaged Don't try or write a horrible review as I see so many there is a reason this is Amazon's #1 choice it's because it's good REALLY HOPE THIS WILL HELP PEOPLE FIND THE RIGHT ONE DECISION TO MAKE AND IF YOU WRITE A REVIEW, WRITE IT AFTER REAL USE (AND READ PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND PRODUCT SPECS BEFORE PURCHASING HEAT AND DON'T DO IT, YOU CAN PEOPLE REJECT FROM A PRODUCT THAT IS TRULY A PERFECT SUIT SON BY PURCHASING THE ITEM FOR WHICH IT IS NEEDED. Remember. Glue sticks were popular when you were 4-10 years old. So nothing for projects that probably have nothing to do with the objects used at the time. AND ELMERS GLUE IS THE ONLY OWN BRAND EVERYONE KNOWS. SO CLEAR, THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST PRODUCTS. BRANDS SPEAK LOUD. DON'T BUY A DOLLAR CHEAPER PRODUCT. THIS IS NOT WORTH.
