You don't have to use them properly and they're still cool!
I didn't buy it for its intended purpose, I bought it to illuminate the hanging guitars on the wall of my music room. These little mini strips are just the right size to attach to a string swing bass or similar and will glow like a triangle on the wall behind the guitars. They should all be the same color, which is fine because if I were using them for their intended purpose I wouldn't see any reason why they could change independently. looks sick
