Don't even dare to buy. It's worth it if you want it good.

I bought four of these. Two for work cars, one for my private car and one for my parents. Each one has worked flawlessly since purchase and is worth buying again and again. I really like the voltage indicators on the adapter plug, they were all accurate when tested, they are visible day and night without being too bright at night. Over time I have bought AT LEAST twenty different car adapters from different places. Some have failed and some have not. The Belkins are the only others that continue to perform nearly as well as they do, but this one still has a much better design. Most other power adapters I've bought have lost functionality in either the 12V outlet or the USB port or the adapter plug. it itself has failed. Of the four Te-Rich adapters I own, not a single port has failed. The device I use the most is used daily for fifteen days to a year, averaging 8 hours a day including weekends. He has a Garmin GPS, a Garmin dash cam, a Brother laser printer, at least two iPhones, and an Amazon Fire 7 that is connected to him most of the time. The GPS, printer and dashcam may have been permanently connected to it since the day I got it, but I'm not 100% sure. The other one I have in my work machine has probably been in use for almost a year, but only two or three devices are plugged into it for a few hours a day. The last two are only used occasionally, but like the others, they work very well. Installation was easy on all. Two attach to the interior of the car with the included sticky pads, one simply floats in the cab of a work truck, and the hardest-working one simply tucks under the truck's fold-down center seat. The power cord for the unit is a very heavy, thick cord. It can be a bit inflexible without power, but I had no problem getting it to work where I needed it.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old
