Great for extending LED strips
I used this to extend some LED lights in my kitchen for a lighting project I was doing for LEDs above and below a cabinet. It worked great for increasing power levels where needed because once I was done with my attic and floor and catching extension cords I had a couple of long runs. I can't compare it to any other brand but I can say it does its job perfectly!
