Edit: My faith in humanity has been restored. The company contacted me and helped me understand what types of dimmers are supported by these devices and which are not. They send me a new dimmer which they tested and I hope (fingers crossed) that it solves all my problems! I really don't want to call my electrician to come back and reinstall! I have two problems with it. First, you can't dim them below what most would consider 50%. I tried 2 different dimmer switches and none of them could make them very dim. The room was still very bright with both dimmers set to minimum. Another problem is that you can hear the buzz when connected to a dimmer. The more you darken them, the louder the buzz. The real problem is that I can't just wrap them up and send them back. They are installed in my ceiling. If I were to take the light fixtures out along with the junction boxes I would have to hire an electrician to undo whatever I just hired him to do. Not happy with that.
