I needed an Arca style plate to mount my camera with tripod and shoulder pad. The aluminum plate is well made and its length keeps my entire rig stable. The bubble level and distance markings are good and I love the fact that the extra holes line up with my Smallrig Base Plate + Pole Clamp (part #1798) - the extra holes prevent twisting. I wish the safety pins were spring loaded so the plate could lay flat on the table and still be used on the quick release plate. Luckily they are removable. Pros: - high quality aluminum; well made bubble level and distance markings additional 1/4" screw holes on both sides of the plate Cons: - safety pins are not spring loaded - only comes with a 1/4" screw
