These very nice and bright LED bulbs will work with old 7" recessed bulbs but you will need the Glue or weld springs. and attach the rods to the bracket. I spent hours trying to find a 7" mod and this is the only one that came to my mind. Everyone sells 5-6" and quit to make anything 7" related. I've used Gorilla Glue and it works, but if you don't, if you have some and go to the store you can also buy JB Weld or other strong glues. The screws that come with the kit only fit a 5-6" glass. I've tried other screws and they don't work as the screw sticks out and the light mounts with a gap to the ceiling instead t to be flush. look at my photos
