Received as a gift. The new one looks nice. I see many complaints about these chains turning black or green and leaving marks. Folks, you need to know if you're buying silver - you agree with that from the start. Silver oxidized! It is in order! (especially when we sweat a lot in summer) It turns black, so silver has always been cleaned/shine. If you get green traces of silver, it's likely that copper has been added to that starch (100% silver is very soft). Typically the silver you buy from the store is 925 which is 92.5% silver with the remaining 7.5% being additional metal for strength.
