Review on 🚽 Vintage Filament Bathroom Dimmable Equivalent by Matt Maxwell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

These are the first LED bulbs that impressed us and now we plan to upgrade more bulbs!

We bought six packs of these new 8W, 1200 Lumens, 2700K Clear "Vintage" E26 Light Bulbs and are so glad we did! We bought these for a new ceiling light on our porch because we wanted a softer light than the two 3000K 9W 800 lumen bulbs we originally started with. Boy are we glad we did! These inexpensive 2700K LED filament bulbs with a 'vintage' design create a nicer ambience on our porch by pairing better with the 'aged bronze' fixture than traditional 3000K LED bulbs and as an added bonus we get 50 % more light with less energy consumption. Bonus! Have used the remaining four of these new 8w bulbs in various vintage household reading lamps that are often used extensively and replaced various CFLs etc resulting in significant energy savings and better lighting in our vintage vintage reading lamps . . The dimming function works great. with our new Levitron and Lutron switches. We recommend these lamps for people who want to set the mood or add a vintage touch to their reading lamps, porch, etc. (although we live in a mild climate, we don't expect any major problems from the harsh weather). We may soon be purchasing six more packs of these bulbs to install various other lights around the house...once we complete a full inspection of the sockets and bulbs in our home...because yes, those new 8 watt LEDs got us into it , to look at us General. Home lighting and energy situation for the first time in decades. EXPLANATION: We paid $20 for a six-pack at Revain at a special price in early October 2021. Now the price seems to be as high as $27 for just three weeks, which is 35% more than the very short term! We definitely think we'll be shopping to compare rather than immediately getting a 35% markup on these bulbs...
