This is a great bag for items that may be exposed to the weather. It breathes/dries very quickly and still offers sufficient space and various storage options. The main pocket is just one big open space, and we stuffed it to the brim with raincoats, water bottles, maps, and more. He took everything and showed no sign. no wear and tear. The top rope lock and main barrel lock worked very well and did their job consistently. Two shoulder straps and a single loop on the back took a lot of work in and out of the boat and in every transport, and none showed any weakness or wear. And upon return, this thing was immediately cleaned and completely dried in less than an hour. Bottom Line: Whether it's for the swim trail or in more demanding weather to organize, store, carry and access all types of gear, this is a superb product. I will be taking this bag sailing again and would have no hesitation in recommending it.
