When I have blackheads, white spots or even pimples, these patches work great. Before use, I washed my face thoroughly and made sure it was dry. I then put these patches on any breakouts I had. Although I felt something on my face, it didn't aggravate or irritate my skin. I have mildly sensitive skin and have had no problems with these patches. Even when I took them off, I didn't feel like shedding my skin or pulling my hair out. What I noticed is that wherever there is a stain on a stain, there is a thick white substance on the stain. I could only guess that it could be excess oil, but whatever it was, my breakthrough came from using them once or twice at most. I even slept with them on my face and woke up to a possible breakthrough. Not only that, the bandage was still on my face.
