Review on SRAM Supercork Bicycle Bar Tape: The Ultimate Grip and Comfort Solution by Shane Watson

Every bike shop knows it and will probably recommend it as it's a very good quality black strap. I used it on my road bike for two years until yesterday - no problem. I only took it off because a little accident ripped it off a bit and it was starting to look a little dirty. Otherwise the tape would have lasted another year. It's really awesome! I don't think any other cork tape lasts as long or stretches over the handlebars as easily. The only downside is that the colors show dirt, so black is best. Many of the more expensive bands simply match the comfort and durability of SRAM's black Supercork band, so buy it at a good price and save some money.
