Our cat has grown up and started avoiding the tray. She hissed and paced the house, leaning over the box, finally hiding in a corner and then throwing up. She's a very good girl and has never done that before, so we knew something was wrong. A few visits to the vet and tests later and we found out it wasn't her glands, thyroid etc and a diet change might have helped but they couldn't guarantee it. Pumping her anal glands at the vet helped for a while but we went every 6 months and she and we didn't enjoy the extra visits to the vet and she STILL had problems every few weeks. Her poop was like rocks, even straight out of her ass! Since we are only at home in the evenings, we feed them dry food and feed according to plan. We needed something to replace one of their meals. We eat 3 small portions of dry food during the day and a pack of it in the evening. This food literally reversed her symptoms, after ONE serving, soft poop appeared on the very first day, and generally she had no problems. the week!
