Review on 💯 DHC Perfect Double Protection Mascara by Holly Bryant

At the time of writing this review, I am 49 and have short, semi-thin lashes. I have small, closed eyelids and oily skin, so finding mascara that doesn't rub off my orbital bone has been a lifetime of frustration. There are only a few mascaras I can wear and this is one of them. At first I didn't like this mascara. My lashes looked like Daddy's skinny, long legs. I had no volume, just a few sparse long lashes. It was a terrifying sight. I was ready to write my devastating review. To prepare, I wanted to apply, take photos, and write about how awful my lashes look. However, I think this mascara is really great! Turns out there was too much mascara on the brush the first time I used it. I found this mascara to last even after a hot day and my oily skin. It acts like mascara, so it washes off easily with warm, soapy water. The water must be warm. Mascara can be built up as long as you apply layers in a fairly tight order. Don't let the layers dry completely before reapplying them or they will stick together. The first two coats apply smoothly and easily. By the third layer, things got a little lumpy.
