They are great for freeing up space
I was expecting this on TV, but it actually works (with a small caveat regarding cats). They have been very good at helping me crush some blankets and such to make more space where I don't have space. They work really well unless you have a cat with a claw stuck in it (not the manufacturer's fault, just pointing that out). They're easy to use, not too expensive, and they help free up space while keeping the contents of the bag as safe as possible (provided you keep them away from kittens). Pros: Ease of use. Durability (but not close to cats, so many) Pretty good price.
