I am an amateur artist. Due to its tall, thin rectangular shape, I used this clothes hanger to place a Bob Ross brush whisk holder in it and it fits great. A large kitchen garbage bag is perfect for this, then I plant a shelf in it and can reach out and wipe my brushes dry without them splattering. I'm painting in a carpeted guest room and this is perfect for my needs but keeps the room splatter free. It's lightweight and takes up little space when not in use, and it was a lot cheaper than a tall thin trash can, plus it has wheels and is beautiful. If I ever stop painting I can remove the garbage bag I lined it with and it will be perfectly clean for washing.
