A few months ago I adopted a wonderful kitten from the animal shelter. I thought I was ready. Coming to me, she skirted all the scratchy toys I had for her and made her way to my mid-century modern dining chairs. Oh no. Anything but them. This product works. If you decide to purchase this product, please understand that it does not work with a single application. For us, how it works is to apply it as needed. If it starts to scratch the fabric, spray it with this product. It smells like citrus fruits. I don't smell bad. Apparently it suits her. She has a look on her face like what you did to my chairs and she leaves them alone. I love this kitty!
