I can't use a male to male USB data cable. It is also very effective as a power cable. And other data cables can't because improperly manufactured cables can't use wires thick enough to handle the current needed to charge the battery. So charging is slow. The interior should be fine as I can use this cable to charge my bluetooth speaker battery quickly and easily. So the cable is well made.
