Review on πŸ–‹οΈ Sakura 38369 10-Piece Blister Card Glaze 3D Glossy Ink Pen Set - Assorted Colors by Denise Davis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

SO cool, not perfect but too cool to rate less than 5 stars!

I love making postcards and will definitely add them to my craft supplies collection. When I used it for words (I used them in my Silhouette Cameo sketchpad) they came out nicely, but I had to be careful to choose fonts that were either larger or didn't overlap too much in the letter to do this. There was no pool. Pros: 1) Adds a nice 3D and shine effect to projects. Ideal for painting or adding a little dimension to a stamped image. 2) I would say just as good as the embossing powder effect. don't handle dirty powder (and just as imperfect as powder) Cons: 1) the pens aren't labeled with color names (still trying to figure out which of the two white pens, one is white and one is clear and which is which) 2) very small die Cap on the pen tip is very easy to lose. Maybe they should give you some extras because I'm sure I'll lose one of them in no time. While the instructions don't say anything, you obviously need to sum it up or they'll dry up. Note: These pens will not work on plain paper. For those who complained about not seeing the 3D effect, I have to assume they didn't read the back of the box. it says it works on "Plastic, COATED paper, Glass and Metal. It just oozes into regular copier/printer paper and although it may have a slight sheen it will not be 3D. I hope they make a glossy version of these pens. .because it might have a cool use!

Pros
  • Waterproof to most surfaces; Use on light backgrounds and on plastic, glass, ceramic and metal
Cons
  • Slightly torn
