great design, high quality, slight size variation

Riding in the cold. My riding group rides in temperatures up to 35 degrees. And I use my bike for shopping and other transportation. I'm writing this review after using this balaclava about 10 times, including multiple rides in temperatures between 36 and 43 degrees Fahrenheit. And my head is a little big. . It is about 61 cm tall, which is the size of a large helmet. I can rarely get my head in a medium helmet. In the past I've had what I consider good balaclavas. One of their limitations is that they limit the amount of air you can breathe when the cover is pulled over the tip of your nose. Any ride that increases heart rate requires the balaclava to be removed from the nose and placed on the chin just below the mouth to allow the rider to breathe properly. This balaclava is made from a material with a more open weave and allowed me to keep the material pulled over my nose with a force that my previous devices would not allow. I haven't had to face him yet, and I don't think I'll have to in the future. I read other reviews before buying and I want to respond to negative comments about its warmth. Although this balaclava lets in more air than any of my previous devices, it still blocks enough wind to keep my face very comfortable at 37-43 degrees. I've sweated in other balaclavas. I do not have it with me. So for me it regulates the temperature of the skin of the face very well. It blocks most of the wind and, when pulled over the nose, allows escaping heat to flow through the cheeks, nose and lips, which seems to compensate for the slightly more porous nature of the material. I have not used this balaclava. still wears dark glasses. I suspect that when the balaclava is pulled over the tip of my nose, some of the escaping air passes under the goggles and causes fogging problems. However, since most of the exiting air goes straight through the material, I suspect fogging won't be as severe as with denser or harder materials. And with this balaclava, it seems like a viable option to pull the front over the upper lip to get more air while still staying warm and not fogging up your goggles too much. when I'm with the referee fools. In the attached images you can see that the black is smaller than the green. I wore black once to referee a game yesterday. When pulled over the nose, it put enough pressure on the tip of the nose to make it uncomfortable. Today I compared black and green balaclavas horizontally at nose level. The green was 19 inches (9.5 inches x 2 = 19 inches) and the black was 18 inches (9 inches x 2 = 18 inches). The difference isn't due to stretch, as the green is never as tight as the black, even when brand new. The sizes of these devices are not the same. The design seems flawless. I have attached an image showing representative stitching from the inside. All seams are sewn flat, where there are fabric edges the appropriate tape is used. There are no annoying edges anywhere. And no visible irregularities in sewing and sewing. It looks well built. In general this is a good unit. I intend to contact the seller about purchasing the black one which is the same size as the green one. If all goes well, I think this will be a very, very successful deal.
