For best results, use bottom layer of paper towel
I tried this bacon pan a few times initially, but each time I found the bacon stuck to the bottom, even when I lowered the microwave power. Also, bits of bacon sometimes stuck to the tray even after the dishes were washed. My remedy: I put two layers of kitchen paper on the bottom of the tray and one layer of kitchen paper on the bacon and then covered with a lid. Perfectly crispy bacon came out, all the fat was absorbed by the paper towel and the top stayed clean. I cook 4 strips of low sodium bacon at around 3:20pm on full power in the microwave over the stove.
