Bought for my 2014 Subaru Forester. I had a lot of trouble finding the right mount for my iPhone XR because it's a lot bigger than my old 5S, the cup holders are too far back for such a mount, the vents are very close to the media screen, the cigarette lighter socket goes in squashed the dashboard so these mounts are unstable, suction cup mounts are useless because the dashboard is porous and I don't like a magnetic mount sticking to my phone. The great thing about this item is that it comes with two ball joints; One for the CD player and the other for the air vents. I installed both. So when I want to use the player or urgently need my multimedia capabilities, I just hold my phone to the vent on the right side of the dashboard and that's it. In addition, it is very attractive, durable and well designed. Did I say "adaptable" too? Thanks for a great product; I see it's a long time!
