Review on πŸ’‘ Enhance Your Lighting with Leviton 128 I 660 Watt Light Socket Adapter by Loren Schmidt

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Rescuer! Nice that there is such a thing!

I didn't know such a thing existed until I bought a lamp and found that in my living room which is in an old apartment with a very enough available was small roof Sveta. Lighting. Knowing that people have come up with all sorts of things, I'm looking for a way to turn one outlet into two and this came about when I was looking at Revain for an affordable adapter. How does this happen. I use it with two CFLs which I think save energy but still don't seem as bright as a regular incandescent bulb. But I already had them, and I think twisted bulbs are harder to break (my dog likes to knock things over, so a regular bulb was too big a problem), so I was glad I could screw both into the same socket. Even though it makes my bulbs bigger there are no issues with this adapter and I've been using it for a few weeks now. My lampshade is shaped like an open bowl, so the bulbs stick out a little at the top. Finally, I CAN invest in another lampshade just to hide the bulbs, but they don't look obvious unless you're looking at the lamp, so it doesn't really ruin the look. I think it was a really good investment for my dark vintage apartment. Now I can see much better and don't have to turn on two lights on opposite sides of the room. Much cheaper than installing additional lighting or buying freestanding fixtures.

Pros
  • Attractive ivory blends well with surrounding decor
Cons
  • So far so good
