Review on Cooler Master NotePal X3 Laptop Cooling Pad - Boost Your Performance with 200mm Blue LED Fan by Terrance Duncan

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Only suitable for light gaming

The cooling pad has no minimum/maximum switch. The air almost does not come out of the pillow, and the air that comes out is not cold but warm, this pillow had almost no effect on the cooling of my laptop, at first I thought yes, but that was mainly because I had the Forced fan switched on. and a mini fan on the desk pointed at my laptop, upon closer inspection I found that this cooling pad is very inadequate as my laptop was too hot to touch while playing Resident Evil 2 (the cooling pad is easier to put Tomb Raider there to move where it does (I don't need fan boost or a desktop fan) funny enough, if I point my standard sized desktop fan at the front of the laptop for half a minute, it immediately cools the bottom but the cooling pad can not do about what - or time. Time. The cooling pad is only good for light games (like PS3 generation), anything on PS4 Pro and above will not work with this cooling pad. Better use one or two mini fans on the table and place one or two on the bottom on each side and you will get much better results with one or more mini desktop fans (or even a full size fan if your it's not cold at home). To make matters worse, it only has one USB port. Not impressed!
