I have a JBL 3 that I am obsessed with and my boyfriend is obsessed with. When his birthday came around I was about to order the JBL Charge but then I saw the BOOM 2. After reading a lengthy review from another customer comparing the two I settled on the BOOM 2 as they claimed , the sound quality is equivalent. It's also smaller than the JBL Charge 3. That sounds great for its size, BUT the JBL Charge 3 definitely has better sound quality. Maybe other people won't notice the acoustics between them, but I'm really picky when it comes to sound quality. I wish I could just pick a well known and reliable product (JBL Charge 3).
