These stamps irritate me so much. I have several sets of numberall dies and they have a notch on the side facing you for a number of reasons, one of which makes it easy to see the die's orientation (the notch is facing you). I foolishly adopted this standard because somehow I could easily tell which way the stamp was going. These stamps (6 mm """Elite""") do not have this marking. I checked all the stamps in my set and the alphanumeric ID on these stamps looks random. It makes me want to give them back. If I'm putting a word or series of numbers on multiple items and have stamps laid out, I need a way to determine the orientation of the stamp without checking it before each strike. I'm so close to just returning these stamps and getting something better somewhere else. However I will check these stamps and if the markings are good I will just make my own insignia on the stamps. When I test them I will upload a picture.
