For background. I've been a musician for 27 years and have been using in-ear headphones (gig permitting) for 17 years. I've been a user of everything from basic headphones (once the Shure E2C and more recently the 215 and Westones) to custom multi-driver headphones (still my #1 for how good they are). I've always been happy. with my ears, which is probably because I'm also a sound engineer (professionally). I used the most basic KZ ZSX earbuds to try out and found them to be pretty good, but lacked a bit of bass. Then he went full habit. I left a few mid-range ZS3s as backups. You are pretty good. I ordered these for my audio colleagues and ordered an extra set (I have the headphone thing and just wanted to see what's in there). I am enthusiastic about the cleanliness, the rich bass and the wearing comfort. I listened to some music while walking my dog and then went to my studio and played. Wow. Easy to combine with medium tips and had excellent isolation from external noise. It was a pleasure playing drums with them. I doubt you will find a better option for the money. They won't take my first place because my setup (Ultimate Ears UE11 pro) is so good but costs 20x more. These guys will sit firmly in my second place. You are really great. You would certainly have been number 1 if I hadn't already decided on customs.
