Good quality velvet

I believe the description says it is velvet. When you're working with a lot of fabric, it's called corduroy. It does not have the same texture (pile) as velvet. It's really pretty and corduroy is more forgiving than velvet so I prefer this one. I wasn't really expecting velvet, more like a cheaper fabric than what I got. This is a really good deal and you get 2 pillowcases. I'm guessing it hasn't been pre-washed, so if you want to wash, do a gentle cycle in cold water or hand wash. Goes well with the feather pillow shape I received in the same size.
