I bought two from Cherry to put on the two side tables; It turned out to be a good height for a lamp. The direction is clear; Just take your time and follow the charts. The door is easy to assemble. The back panel is made from the same material as the main body rather than cardboard and fits into pre-cut slots for a neat fit. I took my time and didn't time it, but I think it took me 30-45 minutes to assemble it myself. I added some wood glue to the joints for extra strength and it feels solid with a heavy lamp. , books on the shelf, something in the closet. I didn't need anything fancy just something that looked good and was durable and was just right! I would recommend if you are looking for something simple but not cheap that you will have to throw away after a year.
