tl;dr: Even if you have weird brush handles, get creative and this product can still wash your brushes without damaging the product or your brushes. Most of my brushes don't look like regular brushes; I have two giant beech brushes (Tarte Buffer Airbrush) and a whole set of leaf-shaped handles (google image of leaf-shaped brushes and it's a green-brown fan brush set). I'm stubborn so I had to try and clean them despite size recommendations. Well after a few adjustments here and there I was able to put them in without damaging anything and the device cleaned them really well. So if you have brushes with weird grips, test them out first and see if you can fit them there. without breaking anything and you will be pleasantly surprised. The only brushes I definitely couldn't wash were my mushroom head brushes as the length gets too long when you put them in the slots and the cycle won't start.
