Review on Aqua Plumb C0294 Chrome Massage by Paul Stephenson

I absolutely cannot recommend this product. When the package arrived and I opened it, I was disappointed from the start. Almost everything about this showerhead is plastic and not even heavy. The design is so flimsy that I was worried that just turning my head to change settings would break it. I was also worried about the arm because what should be a metal fitting is 100% plastic. It was a big problem to tighten it without breaking it. They didn't even come with enough teflon tape for a proper install, but I managed, and my first shower went fine. There was a small leak but nothing to worry about. The second shower was different. I noticed that the coil around the tubing had already started to unwind and thin tubing was visible underneath. Assuming it was cosmetic I wasn't worried. But it wasn't just cosmetics. The hose is kinked. Somehow the hose broke just by bending it open and within seconds of showering the hose was splashing water all over my tub. In 2 showers, when used as intended, the hose broke. If it can't be used as a hand shower, what's the point? My first thought was to just buy a new hose, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that the cheap design just means I'm more likely to have a different problem down the road. I'd rather just return it and find a quality shower head somewhere than wait for the next inevitable problem.
