Review on πŸ’ͺ Milwaukee 2780 20 M18 Fuel Bare: Unleash the Power of Advanced Technology by Ken Hamdan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for small jobs but consumes a lot of batteries.

I have loads of M18 and M18 fuel tools and tons of batteries so I bought this tool clean. Pros: more power than expected. It has enough power to remove metal fairly quickly, although not as fast as my corded 4-inch Dewalt, but that's to be expected. The braking function works well and stops the wheel in a few seconds or less. The tool is comfortable to hold and practically does not vibrate. It also looks and feels good, which is what I've come to expect from Milwaukee instruments. The Bad: It drains the batteries even quicker than expected. A 5Ah battery will discharge in about 10 minutes of almost continuous use. I don't see this as Milwaukee's fault, just type of guy, but I think it's important to know before you buy. Also, the brakes make a strange noise that sounds like a problem with the gearshift. I figured there was no problem, and that's what it sounds like, not too bad if I'm right. pull the cord. However, unless you have a lot of batteries, don't buy it if you think you're going to be grinding a lot at once.
