This is a monitor stand that raises the monitor a few inches. Overall I'm happy with it and I'm glad it's adjustable because I wasn't quite sure what height would be optimal so this particular stand allowed me to play around with different heights. One note: the drawer will NOT work on the 2" (lowest) setting. The height is exactly the same, so it's sandwiched between the stand and the table, and there's no place to put your fingers under the drawer to to open them. So if you use the lowest setting, the drawer is made of junk plastic.
