I was very surprised when I received this chair. The box was really heavy. I had a hell of a time carrying him upstairs. The chair is heavy and on the floor it feels very stable and doesn't wobble at all which is great as I use it for yoga. I'm 4ft 11" tall and when I'm sitting in a chair my feet still reach the floor about half an inch. Sigh. It's hard to find adult chairs for little people! This one came close! Not sure how comfortably it would fit a tall person. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because the chair wasn't wrapped in bubble wrap. It has deep marks on the black metal where the paint has been scratched and a small wound on the chair back cushion. This wound only gets worse over time and now I must find a way to mend it! So I'm not happy with it at all, especially for the money. Overall it's a well made chair and I think it really can withstand 300 pounds, no problem!
