So for $15 this really can't be beat. It's bright for the price imo but it won't light up a room. But I like it, it's an accent, not a lamp. The remote control didn't work at first. My friend came over and flipped the battery and then it worked. *Note*! The USB connector MUST NOT be blocked and the remote must be pointed directly at it for it to work. The lights are on a malleable wire so you can easily bend/straighten them etc if you want to give it any shape, curvy or straight. I used handles to hold it. There is 1 lightbulb that glows in a different color. It's hard to see in my photo because it's dark blue under light blue. But the other one is blue, it's red lol. but I like it. It's bizarre. Rebellious. Opposite. I think it's perfect for my TV background. I can't wait to do a muted red for horror movies. Maybe I can get another one for my room
