This was a gift for my daughter who has outgrown her casual jacket and needed a new one. We picked it because of her current obsession with unicorns, and also because it looked and sounded light and still warm. Their screams of joy told us we had made the right choice. The sizing is a little big at the moment - she's perfect for a size 7, apart from the length as she's only 4 - but that was intentional because we wanted her to be able to wear it for a while or wear it over other things. Cold weather clothing if required.
