The chairs look great from a few feet away, but closer inspection reveals a potentially fatal flaw. First, let me say that these chairs have a lot of potential. Everyone who comes comments on how good they look and asks where we found them. There was only one problem, and if it got worse, the chairs would be useless. Two of the four chairs we bought had curved and split seats. When the wooden seat is bent, only three of the four screws hold the seat to the frame. On one side the seat was raised about 1/2 inch above the metal frame. It's two chairs. So I'm concerned that the seat will crack when in use. A little quality control would have made this an excellent chair with a solid 5 stars. In general we are satisfied with them.
